Purpose

FEMYSO is an umbrella organization that represents the interests of European Muslim youth and student organisations. It aims to promote the active citizenship of young Muslims and bridge the gap between them and European institutions to contribute to a more inclusive European society.

Main activities

  • Advocacy and representation at European institutions (such as the Council of Europe and the EU)
  • Capacity building and training for member organizations
  • Organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences
  • Promoting intercultural and interfaith dialogue
  • Monitoring and reporting on human rights and Islamophobia
  • Networking and coordination between Muslim youth and student organizations
